Delete your account.
You can delete your The Bible account from the app, or initiate a request by email if you cannot access it. Reading without an account remains available.
From the mobile app
- Open Profile and your signed-in account controls.
- Sign in again if asked. Deletion requires a recent authenticated session.
- Choose Delete account and confirm. Wait for the result; if Apple authorization cannot be revoked, retry when the provider is available.
Request deletion by email
Send a request to [email protected] from the address associated with your account, using the subject “The Bible account deletion request”. Tell us you want your The Bible account and associated service data deleted. We may verify ownership before acting and will reply with the outcome or any applicable limitation. This link opens your email app; it does not delete an account automatically.
Do not send your password, verification codes, or private prayer or journal content. If you no longer have access to the account email, explain that so we can discuss verification.
What is removed
Deletion removes the online account and associated live service records: linked Google or Apple identities, sessions, and any account-linked notes, highlights, progress, downloads, or payment records stored on the service. Apple authorization is revoked as part of the in-app flow.
What needs separate removal
Study content currently stored on your device is not automatically erased by online account deletion. Remove it using the app or your device’s app-data controls. Exported images, files shared to other services, and operating-system backups need separate removal through those services. Provider records, operational logs, backups, or records retained for applicable legal or security obligations can have separate retention; contact us for details about your request.
